Booking and Therapy Terms

Your consultation and therapy

Emma Rose MBACP (Accred) provides online counselling and psychotherapy for adults who are 18 or over. The initial consultation is a free video call lasting no more than 30 minutes. It gives us a chance to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain and whether working together feels right. A standard therapy session is a full 60 minutes and costs £55. Any individually agreed concession is confirmed by Emma before booking.

Sessions take place by video call using Google Meet. Emma does not offer face-to-face or telephone appointments as a standard service, although a telephone call may be used if the video connection fails. If you join late, the session still ends at its scheduled time.

Payment

For a paid session, an invoice is issued following booking. Emma asks that payment be made as soon as possible and no later than 72 hours before the session. If you book within that period, please pay promptly using the invoice instructions. Contact Emma if there is a payment difficulty; do not assume that a booking has been cancelled unless you receive confirmation.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Emma understands that plans sometimes change. For a standard £55 therapy session, the following charges apply:

  • More than 48 hours’ notice: no charge to cancel or reschedule.
  • 24 to 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the session fee (£27.50).
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice or non-attendance: the full session fee (£55).

To cancel or reschedule, email info@innerbloomtherapy.uk or call 07367 111142. Emma handles these changes directly; there is no online self-service cancellation or rescheduling. An individually agreed concession may change the monetary amount, but not the notice periods unless Emma confirms otherwise.

Choice and confidentiality

Following your consultation, therapy is voluntary. You do not have to begin or continue therapy and there is no minimum number of sessions. You can end the arrangement at any time; cancellation charges may still apply to a session already booked. Emma will explain the separate therapeutic agreement and clinical intake before ongoing work begins.

What you share in therapy is treated confidentially, subject to professional supervision, serious safeguarding concerns and disclosures required by law. The Privacy Notice explains how personal and clinical information is handled.
